Who We Are

Selfyn is a product of TheBoredFace Agency, an AI creative studio operated by Alexander Tuchkov as an independent business (ENI — Empresário em Nome Individual) based in Lisbon, Portugal. Alexander Tuchkov is the data controller for personal data collected through this waitlist.

What We Collect

When you join the Selfyn waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address
• Timestamp of your signup
• Your IP address (for fraud prevention only)
• Your consent confirmation

We do not collect your name, phone number, location, or any other personal information.

Why We Collect It

We use your email address solely to notify you when Selfyn launches and to send product updates you have consented to receive. We do not share, sell, or rent your email address to anyone.

Legal basis: your explicit consent, given by checking the consent checkbox and submitting the form (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)).

Where We Store It

Your data is stored on a server hosted by Render (render.com) in Frankfurt, Germany — within the European Economic Area (EEA). Render is a US-based company that provides a GDPR Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and maintains ISO 27001 certification. We have selected the EU (Frankfurt) region to ensure data residency within the EEA.

How Long We Keep It

We retain your email until Selfyn launches and you either convert to a user account or we delete it. If you withdraw consent, your data is deleted immediately. In any case, waitlist data will not be retained for more than 24 months from signup.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectify — correct any inaccurate data
• Delete — request deletion of your data at any time
• Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from future communications
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Lodge a complaint — with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD) or your local supervisory authority

Third Parties

We use Render (render.com) as our hosting provider. They act as a data processor on our behalf. No other third parties have access to your data.

This waitlist page does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any analytics tools.

If we update this policy, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated via the email address you provided.
